My Goals as a Trustee

  • Advocate for a safe and effective roll-out of full day Kindergarten
  • We need less emphasis on test scores and more emphasis on actual learning outcomes
  • Connect the Waterloo Region District School Board with local Post Secondary Institutions to encourage dialogue and common expectations
  • Champion Ontario's Green School Strategy
  • Programs like French Immersion should be more accessible
  • Liaise with resources like Communitech and ensure that we are innovating for the present.  We need to equip our students for both current and future workplace expectations - Canada 3.0 and beyond
