I am running for City Council because of the confidence and support I have received from residents, who believe that my business acumen, elected experience and co-operative non-confrontational demeanour is much needed at City Hall. I will strive to shift the culture of Council by putting people first.
Ward 8 in the City of Kitchener needs a more fiscally responsible, can-do (click here) Councillor who can engage in collaborative dialogue with constituents, fellow Councillors, City Staff, and the Region of Waterloo. |
Both the media and City of Kitchener Councillors have expressed concerns that Council should be more collaborative and fiscally responsible. I can help fix these problems if you elect me as your Ward 8 Councillor.
Ward 8 is a diverse mix of early and recent communities, small businesses, and a healthy range of ages and socio-economic backgrounds that need to be engaged in thoughtful dialogue to keep Ward 8 strong.
I have low-cost ideas on how to tackle these opportunities, and I want to help you and hear ideas from you.
What Margaret will do...
I respectfully ask for your vote and support on October 27th.
